Implementation Members

Diabetes care centers that have implemented or are in the process of implementing the Diabetes Data Dock, Rapid Learning Lab and related technologies that support data-driven, patient-centered care.

Learner Members

Diabetes care centers that are interested in learning more about the work of the RTA and developing similar capabilities but are not yet ready to implement. 

Observer Members

Organizations like payers, national standards bodies & related government agencies who have an interest in learning how the Diabetes Data Dock and the Rapid Learning Lab can support value-based care models and population health management. 

Research Members

Organizations that collaborate with the RTA leads and implementation sites on research projects that leverage the RTA data, technology and methods.

The T1D Exchange (T1DX) is dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals with type 1 diabetes through research, collaboration and innovation. By fostering a robust data ecosystem, T1DX drives advancements in diabetes care and treatment through intentional quality improvement. Together, we’re developing tools that will help more organizations integrate and use diabetes device and electronic health record data.


The Diabetes Technology Society (DTS) is committed to promoting the development and use of technology in diabetes care. In 2021, DTS launched the iCoDE Project (Integration of Continuous Glucose Data into the Electronic Health Record), a groundbreaking initiative that established standards for seamlessly incorporating continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) data into electronic health records (EHR) and published the first set of CGM-EHR integration standards in 2022.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is an independent nonprofit recognized for developing evidence-based standards and performance metrics that drive health care quality. For over 35 years, NCQA has advanced transparency and accountability to improve patient outcomes. As an RTA Advisory Board member, NCQA brings deep expertise to ensure innovations align with best practices and deliver meaningful results for people living with type 1 diabetes.
